No cost check recovery services!

Members of the Retail Council can enroll in a federally approved dishonored check reclamation program with Federal Check Recovery Inc. (FCR). Very different from a collection agency, FCR helps Retail Council members receive 100% of the face value of non-sufficient funds (NSF) bounced checks! Just as importantly, FCR’s program requires no fee or contract, nor does it require any direct involvement by participating merchants or their staff.

Authorized by Automated Clearing House (ACH) – the same organization that approves the transfer of funds for check transactions in all participating banks in the United States – FCR collects an average of 75% of bad checks within seven days and 95% of bad checks within 30 days. FCR can also do hard collections (send letters and make telephone calls) for checks issued on non-existing accounts or for NSF checks where collecting electronically proves unsuccessful.

In addition to no fees or contracts, you may discontinue the service at any time. There are also no monthly minimums – if you average three bad checks a month or 30, FCR will happily assist you in collecting the funds you deserve.
