Prior to joining the Retail Council, Mr. Leonard served as a Claim Service Adjuster for Allstate Insurance Company. In this position, he negotiated fair settlements for all bodily injury claims and worked to maintain excellent rapport with insureds and claimants. He was formerly employed by Enterprise Rent-a-Car, where he was a Regional Human Resource Supervisor and managed two rental offices with annual sales in excess of a million dollars. While with Enterprise, he consistently exceeded sales forecasts, decreased monthly arrears trends and increased the overall customer base for his offices. In addition to his responsibilities for the Retail Council, Mr. Leonard is vice president of RCSC, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Retail Council. He holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Clarkson University. |

Robert Leonard joined the Retail Council in 2001 as Director of Membership and Marketing. With over a decade of sales, retail and insurance experience, he manages member recruitment and other marketing activities that feature the Retail Council’s money-saving programs.
